Dr. Mihaesi completed his medical degree in Romania following which he completed his Psychiatry training in Melbourne Victoria.
Dr Mihaesi is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry (RANZCP) and works in private practice since 2018.
Dr. Mihaesi has experience with a range of treatment modalities including neurostimulation (TMS, ECT, tDCS) and he has a strong interest in innovative treatments like Spravato (esketamine hydrochloride) indicated for Treatment Resistant Depression – approved to be administered on site at South Eastern Private Hospital.
Dr.Mihaesi provides a comprehensive mental health assessment and individualised treatment plan for each patient, combining medication, psychological therapies and providing patient education to both patients and their families.He offers both inpatient and outpatient treatments.
Dr Mihaesi has a warm, empathic approach to his work and is passionate about building therapeutic relationships with his patients to ensure they feel heard, understood and receive high-quality, evidence-based treatment.
