We are an integrated private medical, rehabilitation and mental health facility, proudly delivering clinical excellence and positive patient outcomes since 1971.
Since opening in 1971, South Eastern Private has grown to become a specialist 177 bed medical, rehabilitation and mental health hospital helping the wider Melbourne community.
Conveniently located just off the Eastlink at the junction of Heatherton Road and Princes Highway in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs, we accept patients with private health insurance, uninsured self-funded patients, Workers Compensation and TAC patients. We also welcome eligible veterans and war widows under our Tier 1 provider relationship with the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA).
