This 8 weeks program, utilising principles of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Healthy Lifestyle, is designed to empower women and to strengthen their sense of self. Participants will work with a Psychologist and Exercise Physiologist to learn therapeutic skills to improve their psychological and emotional well-being, and make positive lifestyle changes via a tailored exercise and hydrotherapy program.
This program consists of group sessions of between 6-8 participants (4 sessions each with a Psychologist and Exercise Physiologist respectively). You will be supported to share lived experiences, and each session will focus on exploring a practical skill that you will have time to practice before the next session, as well as share with the group what you have learnt for feedback and input. Hydrotherapy and gym sessions are part of the program.
