Professional background
Dr Sewak combines extensive experience with a genuine commitment to patient welfare. He joined Southeast Oncology in 2009 as a consultant Medical Oncologist, and consults at Noble Park, Berwick (St John of God Hospital) PASO Frankston Privt and Peninsula Health.
Dr Sewak has a broad range of experience in all tumour types and his research interests include genitourinary malignancy and lung and breast cancers. Dr Sewak has also been a Lead Investigator in a number of trials involving prostate, renal, and bladder cancers at both PASO and Peninsula Health.
He is a member of the Medical Oncology Group of Australia, Australian and New Zealand Urological Prostate Group, Australian and New Zealand Breast Cancer Trials Group and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
He graduated from Melbourne University in 1989 with an MBBS and training in Internal Medicine and later Medical Oncology, and received my Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
Dr Sewak spent 2 years in New York, USA dedicating his time to research at NYU Medical Center New York. Dr Sewak sees both public and private patients.
